Down Go The Buckeyes

Saturday, November 10, 2007

Looking ahead perhaps? I guess so. The #1 Buckeyes got basically worked by Juice Williams and Ron Zook's offense, and more than likely cost themselves a spot in the National Title Game....

Hey, at least they were good sports about it!

You stay classy Columbus.

That single handedly justifies the beer can incident at Penn State. Way to take a loss, Sweater Vest Boys.

If you go back further in the tape, Williams waited awhile to take a knee on the last play...He got hit late after finally going down and thats what started it.

On the bright side, I don't have to worry about the SEC blowing out OSU in the Championship game this year.

Plus, if OSU beats Michigan, everything's better in my mind.

Let's see if the Big 10 has nads and suspends Robiskie for CLEARLY throwing punches on TV that land.
I'm sure the Big 10 will cop out and say it was after the game.

I guess this game still proves that Ohio State University still remains Gator Bait University...even if it is Zook that gets the job done. Good going Zooker!

Good thing you left out the part where Illinois started it!

That's a big IF.. Carr has laid an egg against Tressel so far, but he held out Hart and Henne because he knows that the UM/OSU game is the one that matters most.

Yeah, Illinois "started it" by beating them at home and ruining their title hopes.

Williams had to take a while to take a knee to run out the clock, that play started with more than 25 seconds on the clock. This is the same thing some other team did to ND earlier this year and everyone freaked out. It's not showing up the other team, it's something you have to do to run out the clock.

If he went down earlier, OSU would have gotten the ball back.

it wasn't the knee thing, it was the illinois players stomping on the Block O in the middle of the field (which you can't tell from the video) that started this.

the exact same scene played out when wisconsin beat us at home three years ago or so

I was at the game and talked to a couple of the players later. The fight started after Illinois went to the Block O at the 50 and started celebrating on it. Most of the players interviewed afterward basically said, "Great win for Illinois, but trying doing it with a little class.".
