The Clemens interview wasn't even a softball game; it was friggin' t-ball. Mike Wallace is to journalism what Joe Buck is to sports announcing. What a pandering, grabasstic piece of hogwash that interview was...and stil Clemens came off poorly. Moreover, he even admitted he "doesn't want to face up to it," and that's why me probably/maybe/surely/almost certainly/not quite absolutely is going to retire. At least Bonds hits the field and faces it down. Clemens doesn't even have the testicular fortitude to face the crowd. Coward. Cheat. Liar.

Aren't Mike Wallace & Roger Clemens good friends?
Separately, I wonder who called whom on Friday night, when Clemens & Brian McNamee spoke on the phone for an hour.

Just as ESPN has officially changed USC's name to "USC: The Team Playing the Best Football (even though we can't prove it)," they have officially changed LSU's name to "LSU: The Only Two Loss Team to Play in the BCS Championship." God, ESPN, let it go. LSU got in. Get over it.

Should've done a live blog for this crappy, hilarious, ridiculous version of the old gladiators...
...and since the bowl game is a blowout.

on second thought, all i need is to program something that sends the captions for what the announcer is saying to the comment box. I don't think he's said anything not awful yet.

Hulk is just such a cartoon in my mind, it's hard to take anything he says seriously.

"the sun, the moon, the stars, and venus were in alignment"

wow, this is the most ridiculous post-game interview i've ever heard in my life. maybe never seeing another reality tv show in my lifetime would be a good thing...

"The Sun, the moon, the stars, and Venus was definitely in alignment baby"

Oof. That's bad. FOX may want to hire Hulk to do a few games with Buck.

@sam:

Reason #112 why FSN is not a worthy challenger to ESPN: I look for the only matchup of two Top 25 teams that FSN's allegedly ACC marquee lineup has (as of now; Cornell-Duke?), only to see that hockey & hockey postgame pre-empted it up here.
Searched all over my cable to find some third alternate channel picked up the game, just in time to see OT.
Brutal.
