Colin Cowherd Can Eat A D***

Friday, April 06, 2007

So the whole 'sphere knows that Coward begged listeners to crash The Big Lead's site yesterday (I'm not linking it so there's a break in the hits). Well I'm going to keep a running Photolog of his webcam today. Let the photoshopping begin! I'll replace these with the best....feel free to email them to

The Official New Name for the douchebag: Shrutebag.

Update: Thanks to Awful Officiating we now have Colin's MySpace Page.

Update #2: Yep....the cup pictures are him doing "magic" for the camera. He also did the thumb trick, and is drinking Fresca. F'ing Fresca!!!

Update #3: Mondesi's House has info on another little feud Cowherd has going on.

And that's your show. No mention of TBL or an apology of any kind. Their site is back down again by the way. So here's your assignment AAers.

We're having a Photoshop Contest with wiked prizes to be announced. Everyone send your entries in this weekend, and I'll pick the winner early next week. Hopefully this new photo can become Colin's new "Official" photo for these here interwebs.

I'm leaving this post up to end the week. I think it's only appropriate. OMDQ, and Extra P will lead you through the darkness the rest of the weekend. Send those Photoshops!

Yeesh, who wants to look at that douchebag, let alone listen to him?

That second picture looks ripe for a photoshopping, perhaps involving a phallus entering Cowfucker's mouth. If one was to do such a thing.

Apr 6, 2007, 10:27:00 AM

If you look closely, you can see the phone books he's sitting on to reach the microphone.

Apr 6, 2007, 10:29:00 AM

what a massive deusch.... Does he have a call in show because you know we could get revenge. and by we i mean anyone who reads any blog ever. Every call is a prank call, however that raises his ratings thoughts.

cowturd is one of the biggest blowhards i've ever heard on sports radio, and that's saying quite a bit.

if cowturd actually did say what is alleged, the guys at the big lead should speak with whoever is hosting the site and seek legal action.

how is this any different than getting on the radio and telling people to throw rocks at the window of (pick an establishment).

Dr. Doom- I don't care. Feel free to post your site whenever you comment. In fact you can have a link in the Friends of AA section if you want.

Doesn't bother me in the least. It might bother others though so be careful.

Apr 6, 2007, 11:15:00 AM

ok thank you, the link is your choice obviously. I just thought that i should apologize to all those who i spammed.

I'm not a lawyer, but if TBL made his living from the ad revenue he makes from his blog, he should be able to sue Coward and ESPN. Any lawyers out there correct me if I'm wrong...

Apr 6, 2007, 11:27:00 AM

what is the number of the show... I will call and blast him.

What's up with the cup pictures? Is he pretending to be a magician? That would put him on a whole new level of douchebaggery. No one likes magicians.

I think blowhard is the perfect word. I've had the unfortunate luck of hearing his show on a few occasions, and on each occasion I think he pointed out how he left college early because of a job offer, like he's Bill Gates or Carmelo Anthony. I'm pretty sure the college was Eastern Washington or some other "directional" school.

He doesn't know anything about anything and his style of argument is Bill O'Reilly-esque at best. He has the power of the hang-up button, which he uses to make it seem like he just shut down his opponent.

On the other hand, Bilas seems to dislike him. That makes him somewhat endearing.

(Not sure if the last post made it) I suggest we boycott all that is ESPN

See Here for more details.

I am truly disappointed at ESPN because they used to be a great network to watch, now it's a bunch of egotistical maniacs running the asylum.

i agree with the espn boycott and as requested on the site i set up a page for it.

(is this spamming again if only post it in two places, which were the places it was mentioned previous to me?)

Consider this federal law relative to what Cowherd did:

18 U.S.C. 1030 - Fraud and Related Activity in Connection with Computers

Whoever knowingly causes the transmission of a program, information, code, or command, and as a result of such conduct, intentionally causes damage without authorization, to a protected computer; and loss to 1 or more persons during any 1-year period aggregating at least $5,000 in value, shall be punished (with) a fine under this title or imprisonment for not more than one year, or both.

The term "protected computer" means a computer which is used in interstate or foreign commerce or communications.

how bout my rant/fake letter to espn at

mookie said...
Apr 6, 2007, 5:29:00 PM

Lou P., as an attorney, I agree that the code section arguably applies, but I'd need to see how Title 18 defines "program, information, code, or command", and I'd need to see if the $5,000 in damages could be proven. Even supposing all that worked, we need an Asst. U.S. Attorney willing to make the effort.

Great find though on the "hacker" statute.

thanks to all who joined the boycott.. we have 4 as of now(we could use some more)

and i agree wiht most of the things in your letter mookie. I happen to like pti and sportscenter. besides that espn is not that good. is almost worhtless.

I made this comment at "the big picture":

Between all of the bloggers on the 'net there has to be someone who knows someone on the inside at ESPN who has access to an employee directory, we need to do something like publish his phone number on a blog or something

Apr 6, 2007, 7:35:00 PM

WHY hasn't his MySpace wall been spammed yet? I don't have an account, but come on, people!

I'm lucky enough to live in a town where the Colin Coward show is not aired by the local ESPN affiliate. We get a local Richmond-based show from 10-noon and Red Zebra's Bram Weinstein show from noon-1. I'd say we caught a break, wouldn't you?

I am hoping that this gets Coward fired. He was once interesting to listen to, but he decided to stop trying and start yelling, which was about the time Red Zebra dumped him here.

Red Zebra airs Cowherd in D.C. from 10a-12p, but then switches to Bram Weinstein.

Cowherd's more in love with the sound of his own voice than Sen. Joe Biden.

I used to correspond with this guy when he was local back in Oregon, and he's the quintessential ALLCAPS freeper wingnut multiple-exclamation-point douchebag. He's out of his mind.

I'm surprised, though, that he could even conceive of a DDOS attack; in fact, I disbelieve it completely. One of his cheeto-stained producers probably suggested it to him.

It's tough to find good sports talk radio; maybe I'll get XM.
