That's not entirely true. Indianapolis was the #1 seed in '05 when Pittsburgh beat them and Enberg/Dierdorf did that game. Nantz/Simms were in New England for NE/Denver.
More like, Dallas and New England are in the playoffs, of course the #1 announce teams will be there.
Dallas could be playing an exhibition game against Bowling Green, and Joe Buck and Troy Aikman would be there.
As a Giant fan pick your poison, Aikman or Moose, either way it is a Dallas lovefest. At least with Moose you get Goose for a little balance.
It shouldn't be a surprise that Jim and Phil are going to Foxboro. Hell they were there for Dolphins-Pats a few weeks ago.
Surprisingly, Dallas has only got 7 games this season with FOX's A-Team, the Giants have 4....here's how it works out for Dallas:
Buck/Aikman 7
Michaels/Madden 3
Nantz/Simms 2
Gumbel/Collinsworth 2
Albert/Moose/Goose 1
MNF Buffons 1
As for the Patriots Breakdown:
Nantz/Simms 6
Michaels/Madden 3
Gumbel/Deieredorf 2
MNF Buffons 2
Gumbel/Collinsworth 1
Albert/Aikman 1
Harlan/Gannon 1
So, out of the 9 times they could be on CBS, the A-Team showed up, And it's 7 out of 8 on the FOX side.
the #1 teams go to where the games will bump into prime time.
that's more important to the networks.
God I f'n hate Tony Siragusa...what a waste of human life....
The reason he works from the endzone is that his fat ass cant fit on the sideline with a full NFL sqaud....
Drink everytime he mentions anything about his ohh soo illustrious career....
F You "Goose"
Thank goodness that The Giants dont get Moose and Goose again. Aikman will definitely be for Dallas, but he is pretty fair most of the time.
yippeee kenny albert for the early matinee contest!!!! give me brent over teams 2-8 for fox any day of the week
Who cares what guys commmentate which games. Football is football, it doesnt matter which has-been athletes and coaches commentate. Hell, 50 percent of them state the obvious anyway.
Dallas and New England are the #1 seeds, of course the #1 announce teams will be there.
