Your MLB Announcing Schedule For The Weekend

Friday, August 08, 2008

Most people are getting a double dose of Cubs and Cards this weekend, which seems like the 40th matchup between the two teams this season, but it could be worse (the Red Sox twice). Also there's no Buck this weekend, and for those of your interested in catching some Manny action...you'll have to wait until next week (Brewers at Dodgers on TBS).

Here's the schedule....

Saturday:

St. Louis Cardinals vs Chicago Cubs- Dick Stockton, Eric Karros & Ken Rosenthal (Fox, 3:55pm, 56%)

MARKETS INCLUDE:
Albuquerque, Atlanta, Birmingham, Charlotte, Chicago, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus, Dayton, Denver, Detroit, Greensboro, Greenville, Houston, Indianapolis, Jacksonville, Kansas City, Knoxville, Las Vegas, Louisville, Memphis, Milwaukee, Nashville, New Orleans, Oklahoma City, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Pittsburgh, Raleigh

New York Yankees at LA Angels- Thom Brennaman & Tim McCarver (FOX, 3:55pm, 43%)

MARKETS INCLUDE: Austin, Baltimore, Boston, Buffalo, Dallas, Fort Myers, Hartford, Los Angeles, Miami, Minneapolis, New York, Norfolk, Orlando, Portland, Providence, Richmond, San Francisco, Seattle, Tampa, Washington, West Palm Beach

I don't tthink we are going to see Joe Buck on baseball telecast for a while because of his football duties.

Why not? Fox has three exhibition football games (2 on back-to-back nights next week), and Buck could just cram for them like he does for baseball...

Actually the first time St Louis has been to Wrigley this year. Whacked out MLB Scheduling this year...as usual.

so now buck for a month and a half? awesome now i get to listen to people that sortve care about the game instead of the jackass that crams in scouting reports as hes doing the games.

Wouldn't break my heart if I never saw Joe Buck again. Seems like this season he would only do the Yankee games. Thankfully I don't have to hear him today. If I can be rid of him, then I only have to target McCarver's removal from the broadcast.

The TBS telecast is at 2 PM ET and will include a tribute to Skip Caray.
