Shawne Merriman And Steven Jackson Are Time Travelers

Friday, September 07, 2007

Man I am loving Nike's new campaigns as of late. In the latest Shawne Merriman and Steven Jackson leap through time to different games in a commercial titled "Leave Nothing".

Michael Mann (Heat, Miami Vice) directed this second set of Nike commercials and the music is from Last of the Mohicans. Good stuff.

Easily more enjoyable than the decade I lost watching 'Miami Vice - The Unrated and Horrible Edition' DVD the other night.

Ok, that was cool.

But why was Joel Steed playing safety for the Stillers?

The Last of the Mohicans soundtrack is the best in the history of film.

Except for Grease. OMG, sooo good!

The first time I watched that, I had the sound off on my computer.

Just saw it on TV...damn. The music makes it a great commercial.

The track is called "Promontory" off the Last of the Mohicans OST.

it's a really nice commercial but it's too bad that they decided to use shawne merriman. There has been so much negative feedback from online communities that Nike had no choice but to remove him from the ad.
