Your College Basketball Schedule For The Week Of 11/10

Tuesday, November 11, 2008

I should have had this up yesterday, but just ran out of time. You only missed Duke beating Presbyterian by 31 on ESPNU. I'll try to have this up with the NBA schedule on Monday each week, and if there are ever any holes please be sure to shoot me an email with the updated info. I'm also going to try and get a hold of more local things once the press releases start flying in the season, but to start out expect just ESPN, CBS and maybe BTN.

College Basketball is upon us (scary I know), and while ESPN's true schedule doesn't kick off until next week, there are some tournament games airing on ESPNU over the next few days. Here is your schedule and as always, thanks to the work that The 506 puts in on these....

Tuesday, November 11th

2K Sports Classic: Michigan Tech @ Michigan (ESPNU, 7pm)- Jim Barbar, Jay Williams
2K Sports Classic: Georgia Southern @ 5 Duke (ESPNU, 9pm)- Beth Mowins, Bob Wenzel

Thursday, November 13th

Friday, November 14th

CBE Classic: Toledo @ 19 Florida (ESPNU, 6pm)- Rich Waltz, Bob Wenzel

Sunday, November 16th

10 Comments:

Stephen Bardo is definitely one of the worst.

Is Wayne Larrivee replacing Thom Brennaman on the lead team for the Big Ten Network? Charles Davis and Brennaman normally form the lead team but this week it's Larrivee and Davis and Brennaman is with Martin on the #2 Game...

What a surprise... Those bitches at Duke get their first 3 games (against Presbyterian, Ga. Southern, and RI) on ESPN.

so you think penn state being a 34 point favorite is the #1 game?
while iowa is a 15-point favorite and the game hits bigger markets like Chicago.

I always thought Steve Physioc was with Fox Sports Net? Nevertheless, good to see him w/ ESPN (U). I always thought he was one of the better play by play guys out there.

I was thinking the same thing, dazzle. Physioc was on an FSN football game a few weeks ago, but was on some WCC basketball games for ESPNU last year. Go figure.

@Anon 9:41: #8 ranked team + #1 color commentator (sad commentary on BTN's analysts) + #1 BTN sideline hottie + #1 and only Big 10 home game appearance for Penn State = #1 Game

Since ESPNU is not available to me, that list means nothing to me.
