Who is Ron Thulini?
It's Ron Thulin (TOUCHDOWN USC!)
2 more full weeks till the games AA, 2 more.
Ron Franklin's back on the ESPN Saturday Night game? I might actually wake up from the post Michigan-loss-to-Buckeyes stupor this year.
You should all watch tomorrow night's MAC game. That should be one hell of a fight.
gmoney's absolutely right. Say what you will about MAC football, but CMU and Ball State battling for the MAC West crown at snowy Kelly/Shorts Stadium should definitely be a good one.
I think we need to set some sort of over/under on how long it takes before ESPN2 shows that picture of Ray Bentley from his CMU days. It's the same one they always show when he calls a CMU game.
Someday AA will update his schedule sidebar.
Today will not be that day.
I think it's obvious that ESPN/ABC thinks Mike Patrick/Blackledge is their #2 team, thus they dont get punished by going to an ACC game this week.
Todd's Taste of the Town comes to ABC. Sweet!
The Penn State and Wake Forest games are in the Reverse Mirror. Also, Ole Miss-LSU is at 3:30.
Mississippi @ 18 Louisiana State (CBS, 3pm)- Verne Lundquist, Gary Danielson, Tracy Wolfson
When i saw this i couldnt figure out for the life of me who the hell Louisiana State was...
The long, loud "FUCK YOU, 6 ABC!" you just heard from Buckeye and Wolverine alumni was the fact that the Ohio State-Michigan game will be on pay-per-view in Philadelphia because WPVI will televise the first Philadelphia City Championship football game in three decades. And the long "HOLY FUCK!" was from 30 Rock when they realized that Syracuse-Notre Dame would be pre-empted for Boise State-Nevada in Idaho.
TRTIMP is in Happy Valley! Oh man, this should be good....
james: I think they're showing OSU/Mich on ESPN in Philly.
Anon 4:24, West Virginia-Louisville is on ESPN, ad The Old Oaken Bucket between Purdue and Indiana is on ESPN2. Channel 6's digital subchannel also carries E/I programs between 10 AM and 1 PM, so Michigan-Ohio State is on PPV.
For all the noobs, TRTIMP - The Randomness That Is Mike Patrick.
WHY should I care about Indiana/Purdue?
james@7:05: Boise NBC will have Syracuse-Notre Dame on a DT subchannel.
Just found out michigan-Ohio State will be on ESPN 2 in Philly instead of Indiana-Purdue.
Goddess of Pammy Chronicles, thall shalt miss you.
Ah, for at least one week all is right with the college football world. Ron Franklin is back on the ESPN primetime Saturday night game. It's too bad it's not an SEC contest, but I'll take what I can get. To me, Ron is still the voice of SEC football.
@ GMoney: I'm taking your advice and watching the C. Michigan-Ball State game. And I can't tell you how many times Ray Bentley has mentioned "popping it out" or how it just "popped out".
Wow, a 1-9 team against an 0-10 team (Wazzu vs. UW) equates to a nationally televised game with the lead announcing crew from FSN. That's terrible.
That game should be regional so they can hold off ratings suicide.
