Your NBA Announcing Schedule For The Week Of 11/24

Monday, November 24, 2008

For some reason, networks seem to be picking one or two teams to highlight each week. Last week it was the Blazers and Bulls, and this week it's the 76ers with three appearances on National TV. There's nothing wrong with that approach, in fact it's rather enjoyable considering the Cavaliers, Lakers and Celtics will be featured the rest of the year.

Here are the rest of your games for the week....

Monday, November 17th

Philadelphia 76ers at Charlotte Bobcats (NBATV, 7pm)- Steve Martin, Henry Williams (Local Announcers)

Tuesday, November 18th

Fan Night Matchup: Cleveland Cavaliers at New York Knicks (NBA TV, 7:30pm)- Mike Breen, Walt Frazier (Local Announcers)

Wednesday, November 19th

Orlando Magic at Philadelphia 76ers (ESPN, 7:30pm)- Mark Jones, Hubie Brown

Thursday, November 20th

Friday, November 21st

Dallas Mavericks at LA Lakers (ESPN, 10:30pm)- Mike Breen, Mark Jackson and Jeff Van Gundy

AA,
"The Mayor" Steve Mix no longer does color of the Sixers.

Zumoff's new sidekick is John Salmi.

Or as one local writer has dubbed him "John Salami".

This is neat. I like the 76ers. I hope they win the East this season.
