Go Beavs!
The Oceanic Channel or the Oceanic Network?
Either way -- never heard of it.
Bet Hawaii Five-Oh and Magnum PI are replayed continuously when they're not televising football.
Anon - but bottom middle is what we call a picture saver
Really, bottom middle just looks like ben stiller doing blue steel.
(That's a picture ruiner =D)
I will be checking out that Arkansas/LSU game now just to hear the greatness that is Don Criqui.
Also, good to see Trev Alberts got called up to the A network.
Guys, you are all missing the big news here.....
PAM WARD IS DOING AN ABC GAME! PAM WARD IS DOING AN ABC GAME!
For what? 5% of the country?
Those girls are looking for a walnut sandwich.
You guys ruined that picture for me! You're the picture ruiners....
Looks like a good weekend of college football. I won't be around the PWCs that much this weekend if at all, but I'll be thinking about you guys.
Have a great Holiday, AA!
Time Warner Oceanic is carrying the Hawaii games.
And for those of you keeping track, Dr. Lou is doing a two day stint in Bristol, The Matron Saint is working an ACC game between Maryland and Boston College on either ABC or ESPN, depending on where you live, and Crazy Uncle Gary does the Iron Bowl in Auburn.
In other words, a three-day Pammyfest.
It must be great to have Thanksgiving in Bristol, Conn.
The Oceanic Channel or the Oceanic Network?
We're all thinking it: the in-flight movie for Flight 815.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!!
I feel bad for Dan Fouts:
He had to correct Keith Jackson for years at ABC and then he goes to CBS and has to put up with another washed up announcer in Don Criqui.
The deal to have the Maryland-Boston College game broadcast in 3-D (a la the Raiders-Chargers) was nixed after Pam Ward got the assignment.
And +1 for RJBO!
Over/under:
5 people who will care about Washington State/Hawaii?
Over/under: 5 people who will care about Washington State/Hawaii?
Way over. Gamblers who lost most of Saturday double up on the Hawaii game @ Midnight.
/not that I've ever done that
Hawaii needs to win to become bowl eligible.
i'll more than likely be AT that Hawaii game
Looks like the Hawaii game has already gotten over 5 posts, so that answers that question.
At first I thought it said Jim Lampley. LOL
Don Criqui+Dan Fouts=must-see television!
Don;t forget that Don Criqui is also the network radio PxP for Notre Dame, so he'll have to double-cram and travel a few thousand miles in the process.
I wonder how good his voice will be at 11:26pm EST Saturday night when USC is up by 50!?
now i have a reason NOT to watch the maryland BC game..
Top row: maybe, yes
Bottom row: no, hell yes, yes
Oceanic Time Warner Cable.
I'll be there.
Aloha.
Had to put this somewhere... just great.
Color guy on OU vs. UAB basketball.
"Capel is gonna get a timeout. Gather his team, and give 'em a little blow."
They did get off to a slow started, maybe a little white lady wouldn't be too bad.
@Bazooka Jones: I think that was Lavin, who now doesn't wear hair gel if he's not doing a game with Erin Andrews.
@RJBO: How's the liver today after the show the Lying Downs put on?
I wasn't really drinking today. I was either driving, eating or watching the Old Spice Classic on ESPN2 (which had some compelling moments).
Watching Ohio-Miami game...this Jay Taylor girl is brutal.
Repeats everything Dave Ryan says at the beginning of his thought.
Classic crutch of a bad analyst who can't come up with anything on their own and has to be told what to think.
Horrid leg break during the Mississippi State-Mississippi game. Brandon McCray, #6, a Prothro like break, just falling into the turf, nobody falling on him.
LaMont and Huard were talking about not hearing a whistle during a replay, even though you can clearly hear the whistle.
Criqui: "Jordan Jefferson's movin' on up for the Tigers."
Bleh.
This is the first time all year I've seen the Razorbacks on TV. I didn't know they had three Dicks on their team (2 playing QB, 1 as head coach).
Also, bleh.
I just had the mother of all disasters about Utah's football team...
If Oregon State beats Oregon and Oklahoma beats Oklahoma State, the Utes would be screwed royally because it would be possible for Utah to be screwed out of the BCS like Boise State will because both would be in the BCS Top Ten. That's because Southern California and Oklahoma would be the likely at-large teams, both with one loss.
BTW, congrats to Cincinnati on winning the Big East.
I thought Utah automatically qualified for the BCS already.
Tessitore and Gilmore have been royally annoying in this game with the "Boise State got screwed!" whining. Just endless complaining.
Whining for Boise State in the BCS is still better than the permutations worked out during the Colorado-Nebraska broadcast on how Oklahoma & Texas can play each other in the National Championship game. If Ohio State-Michigan can't two years ago, no one should be able to.
