SNF Live-Blog: Patriots @ Colts, Pre-Game Open Thread
Sunday, November 02, 2008
Coach Hobo and the Brady-less Patriots are at 5-2 and headed into Indy to face the 3-4 Colts. With the Bills losing today, the Pats can take sole possession of first place in the AFC East with a win. Peyton Manning and Co. need to defend the home turf or risk falling out of any chance of a Wild Card spot.
I honestly think it's a toss up, so make your pick in the comments, document anything stupid on Football Night in America, and we'll see you in an hour for the live blog.

Congrats on the win for the Iggles, Jfein. I'm angry at Lito Sheppard because if he doesn't bite on the first play, my shutout prediction would've been correct.
Bettis actually thinks can win the division with Rex Grossman as their QB.
@ SSReporters: Thanks, I'm shocked. Really. I've never been so thrilled to dominate a game that we were supposed to dominate. Alas, Lito Sheppard just proved why we got Samuel. He bites too easy like that. I, for one, hope we trade him in the off-season.
Coming up tonight: The trailer for the new video game Gears of War 2. If that isn't a reason to watch SNF tonight, then I don't know what is. (please note sarcasm)
You're welcome Jfein, Andy Reid needs a big man on 3rd and 1 though.

Role Models will be a bust, mark it.

Bradshaw suggested they go to Mexico since its their bye week.
As a Skins fan looking at playoff tiebreakers, I would like to extend the middle finger to the Seahacks for their performance today, and to the Chiefs for letting the genius Gruden win.

@ JG: Darn, you beat me to the BS standings!
Olberman should know.
I would agree it's a toss-up. The Patriots are yet to wow me, even at 5-2 and the Colts are wowing me in that they are so bad this year. This obviously this isn't the Pats-Colts showdown of the past few years, but it should be an interesting game nonetheless.
